Canal Grande este cel mai important canal de apă şi la nivel de oraş,
, precum şi principalele trafic fel.
El este delimitat de către foarte frumoase şi clădiri antice, făcute de alb cu pietre,
lemn, Marbles si metale, toate fiind departe de la Veneţia. Acestea au fost puse
cu un sistem multi stratum: cel mai mic este făcută de Cherestea metafore, în mare,
următoarele tabele de lemn, de sus este o temelie de piatra de pe cine Istria

Coming from S. Marco la Locul de romi şi S. Lucia statie de cale ferată, pe care le vor întâlni:

- At your right, Palazzo Grassi, made in 19th century by G. Massari, now seat of the homonym foundation
- At your left, in from of Palazzo Grassi, there is Cà Rezzonico, built between 1649 and 1750, now Settecento Veneziano Museum building
- At your left, Cà Foscari, built in 16th century, in typical gothic style, is now an University building
- At your right, Cà d'Oro, built in gothic style from 1422 to 1440, is now the Galleria Franchetti seat
- Almost in front of Cà d'Oro, there is Cà Pesaro, built from 1628 to 1720, in baroque style, is now the site of Modern Art and Oriental Art Museum
- At your right, there is Palazzo Vendramin Calergi, that is now the winter site of the Casinò
