Christian Church, which, according to tradition, was built over the tomb of
the Apostle Peter. Michelangelo (the author if the dome shaped roof), Giacomo
della Porta and Domenico Fontana were the builders of this magnificent
construction, during the XVI century.
The piazza is wide and bordered by a splendid colonnade, made by Bernini.
