The Fontana di Trevi is certainly one of the symbols of Rome.
It was conceived by Nicolò Salvi in 1735, and decorated by many artists of Bernini’s school, in classicism and baroque style. It’s in front of the Palazzo Poli, a large palace decorated with statues and bas-reliefs.
If you want to come back another time to visit Rome, remember to throw a coin in the fountain, turning your back on !
