How to reach Rome
By Car
Rome can be reached by:
- the A1 highway Milano - Napoli
- the A24 highway Roma - Aquila - Teramo
By Plane
Rome has 2 airports: the most important is Leonardo Da Vinci (Fiumicino), which
is 26 km far from the city. It’s very simple and cheap to go to Rome because
from here there are many trains which reach the Termini railway station
(9,50 euro, the trains go every 30 minutes), and Trastevere, Tiburtrina,
Ostiense railway stations (5 euro). If you prefer to move in a more comfortable
way, you can take the taxi, and you’ll spend around 40-50 euro.
Ciampino airport is 20 km far from Rome; here the most part of charter
flights arrive. To go to Rome, you can take a bus that arrives to the Line A
of the Metro (1 euro) or take the bus to the Termini railway station and spend 5 euro.
By Railway
The main railway stations of Rome are Termini and Tiburtina; near there are Metro
stations, and many bus to reach the different sides of Rome.
By Bus
Near Tiburtina railway station there is a big square where there is the end of
the line of the most part of the bus directed to other Italian and foreign cities.
