Lake Iseo, called also Sebino, has a glacial origin and is situated in Lombardia in the
pre-Alps area at the south of the Orobie Alps.
The surface is about 65.3 km2 and the maximun depth is 251 meters.
How to reach the lake
Air
If you come to Italy by air you can land to the Orio al Serio airport in Bergamo
(about 40 km southeast of the lake) or Montichiari airport in Brescia (about 46 km southwest
of the lake). You can take the bus for many important towns of the lake.
Train
Iseo is not directly linked to the railways, the nearest station is Bergamo.
Car
Run the the A4 highway Torino - Trieste, the nearest exit is Palazzolo, then take
SS469 road to Iseo.
