Magreglio is the highest town of Vallassina, located at 744 metres of altitude,
near Civenna.
This town comes into being in the prehistoric age, as shown by some objects found in a cave.
Magreglio offers to the tourist the possibility of a relaxant vacation in one
of the many comfortable hotels, in every season: as a matter of fact, also in
winter Magreglio is appealing for ski lovers, who can go in a few minutes to
the Monte S. Primo ski tracks.
It's interesting to visit the little church of the Madonna del Ghisallo,
of 1500, a sanctuary where wheelers use to go and leave their bicycles and
trophys (like Coppi, Bartali and others).
